About Fredrick L. May
"The number one complaint that clients have about attorneys is that
their attorney cares more about the fee bill than they do about the
client's case. We all have to make a living, but I chose this profession
because I love the work. There are a lot of easier things people can do
to earn a living."
Mr. May is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve
University School of Law where he excelled in criminal
defense law and trial advocacy. His practice serves the
entire Cleveland Metropolitan area. He is a member of the
Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio State and
Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations.
In 2005, Mr. May received a CALI award for his legal
academic article on family businesses and has written other
academic articles which can be found on this web site in the
"library" section. Mr. May is a member of the esteemed Phi
Delta Phi international legal fraternity.
" I just don't understand why some attorneys are so arrogant. There are
so many attorneys that are condescending, that talk down to their
clients and don't take their concerns seriously. They don't even return
their clients' phone calls. How do they stay in business?"
